Walk around any office and you'll be able to perceive two types of individuals: those that are energy positive and those that are energy negative. Some people are bursting with vitality. It's as if there is a furnace deep within, like the Earth's molten core, that is bubbling with vigor, creating a magnetic field that attracts the attention of nearly everybody, even when they're quietly doing their work. They're energy positive; they give off more than they consume, and every team needs a number of these people, sometimes referred to in other energy terms, as spark-plugs, for instance. Then there are energy negatives. If there is oxygen in the room, created by the positives, the negatives suck it out, replacing it with carbon dioxide, which if it builds up to much, is toxic.
Sometimes, you can distinguish the positives from the negatives by gazing into their eyes. The positives are emitting, constantly, flowing outward. The negatives are inflowing, drinking in what the positives are putting out.(Check this out at a party, a restaurant, or at any social occasion through a little people-watching!).I suspect, when people talk about the "chemistry" of a sports team or a work group that they're really trying to describe an assemblage's overall energy at a given time.
With enough people out-flowing simultaneously, you can feel the electricity. It's as if they make achieving a goal feel effortless because there is an abundance of "fuel" in the area.Do this little experiment. Pick up a fashion magazine and gaze at the models, especially at their eyes. Are they energy positive or negative?.
Do the same thing with a movie star magazine. I believe you'll find a difference, that the models are generally inflowing, while the media stars are out-flowing.Can you change from one to the other? If you're generally an out-flower, but you're sick, you'll reverse the tide, and in the same way, if you're usually positive but you experience a big setback, this reversal of fortunes could be coupled with a reversal of energy. To move from the negative to the positive requires the employment of imagination. Locate your energy center, about three inches below your navel. Imagine it as a powerful geyser or as a lake of bubbling lava, bursting with energy.
Bring those flows up your body and send them forth through your eyes.Become a source instead of a terminus.Practice this technique, especially when you're feeling negative or you're not sure whether you're creating or sucking energy, and see what happens not only to you and to your outcomes, but to people around you.Suddenly, do you seem more magnetic, attracting more of what you really want and need?.
